Argentina Informality Dashboard
Two decades of Argentine household survey microdata on informal employment, in a form you can interrogate rather than read about. Built for the International Labour Organization.
Informal employment is the central fact of the Argentine labour market, and it is measured every quarter. The problem is that the measurement sits in raw survey files that almost nobody outside a statistics office opens. This dashboard turns those files into something a policy officer, a journalist or a union researcher can actually use. It covers informality from 2003 onwards, broken down by sector, province, sex and age, and the series are coded so that each new quarter can be added rather than rebuilt by hand.
